Sadness marks the loss of Dantia's lovely foal

After 5 years of trying for a foal from our Hanoverian mare Dantia x Diamante gave us a gorgeous black bay filly only to loose her hours later. Perhaps the take home message is when its so difficult to get a mare in foal this is perhaps a reason to not persue. Dantia is now retired. She looks wonderful and every time I look at her I wish for that offspring from her but it is not to be.
