Uphill Foal Arrives...

The recipient mare, who's bag and body had not changed for over a week, surprised us with a stud colt this morning. No wax, no discharge, no pacing , she foaled with no usual warning signs at all. This foal has legs, legs, legs, he is all and a little more than we had hoped for. A refined, example of his pedigree. We couldnt be more excited. Many thanks to MIchelle at Prima Equestrian for importing the frozen semen of such a brillant upcoming stallion and also to Dr. Rick Katchiuk and his staff at Alberta Veterinary Centre in Red Deer Alberta for a successful embryo transplant.
